On Friday the 15 of November some of the year 5s and 6s went to the LC2 to play in a rugby tournament. We all got down there by taking a mini bus. Before we left there was a bit of trouble because everyone was in their onesies (it was Children in Need day).Just as we got there we were taken into a room which had about 4-5 rugby courts, there were also about 12 teams. Once we were all in the room we played a few practice games before our first match. After a while we were called up for our first match. The other team were the green team and our team were the blue team. Seeing as this was our first tournament, we lost. But they were a very good team and we had no chance anyway. At the end of the match, the green team scored 7 and our team scored 3. We were all exhausted. Ieuan almost fainted on the floor and Amy felt like dropping dead on her face. We shook hands with the other team and went for a drink of water. We went back to our court and practised for a bit then we played British Bulldogs to pass the time.
The next match we won by Ethan passing it to me and there was a massive gap, so I scored a try.We won 6-5 so we were lucky. Then we got off the pitch and played Rugby passing. We had a brilliant day and really enjoyed playing against other schools.
